BLACKPOOL'S GOT THE FEBRUARY FRIGHTENERS!

WITH SUPERNATURAL EVENTS' GHOST TOURS AND INVESTIGATIONS

Blackpool’s award-winning Supernatural Events is returning to the Winter Gardens complex and Blackpool Zoo this February – will you pluck up the courage to join them?

This February sees two eerie events taking place in the resort, with a ghost tour of two locations in the Winter Gardens complex, the Empress Ballroom and Pavilion Theatre; and an overnight investigation at Blackpool Zoo.

Get the February Frighteners in the beautiful by day, but “dark” by night Empress Ballroom and Pavilion Theatre at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Tuesday 2nd February. Both locations have a history of haunted happenings and this could be your opportunity to see for yourself what goes on late at night when the lights are switched off and doors locked! The Empress Ballroom opened in the summer of 1896 and is one of the largest in the world; the Pavilion Theatre has been a cinema in a “previous life” as well of course as being a music hall theatre.

Later in the month, experience an overnight investigation at Blackpool Zoo (Friday 19th February). Originally the site of Blackpool’s municipal aerodrome during World War II, many of the original buildings still stand and are now used to house some of the animals and storage. Visit the elephant house and explore other areas normally inaccessible to the public, and see if you will experience something from beyond.

Monday 1st - Spanish Hall Suite Ghost Tour, 9pm to 11pm.
Friday 12th - Grand Theatre Overnight Investigation, 11pm to 4am.
Friday 26th - Overnight Investigation at Blackpool Opera House, 11pm to 4am.

APRIL 2010
 Friday 9th - The Ghost Coach to Investigate the hauntings at Morecambe Winter Gardens. Depart Blackpool 6.30pm for 7 hours of investigations and experiments. Return to Blackpool 4am.
